When The Mask Begins To Slip
This is for the husbands!
She is a controlling woman who is never satisfied. Being with her is like being bound in shackles, but you won't see it at first. In the beginning, there is a love like you wouldn't believe. She will be everything you never knew you'd need. Showering you with affection so you can let down your hearts protection. Love bombing is the proper term and soon it will all implode. The mask begins to slip. You start to notice little cracks, and little chips. But you brush it off as her being under stress. Now she wants to know your every move and address. The little things that used to bring you joy no longer do. And I hate to tell you, but it's not you, it's that Contentious woman. She pretended to care, pretended to know you, all this was done in an effort to control you.
Now you may be asking yourself, what is a Contentious woman? It is a woman that has never known love. She's clothed in bitterness and jealousy. Her mouth spews venom, she knows no joy. Her heart does not beat in spirit and truth, it beats with pleasure as it harms you. The Bible tells us that it is better to live on a corner of a roof than to share a house with a nagging or quarrelsome wife "Proverbs 21:9". A nagging wife is like the dripping of a leaky roof in a rainstorm. Stopping her is like trying to stop the wind. It's like trying to grab olive oil with your hand "Proverbs 27:15-17. She will never be satisfied and has the heart posture of a selfish animal. She only cares about herself and wants you only to serve her. She's always right and never wrong, and she sings an unapologetic song. Her soul's purpose is to make your life miserable. But you must remember you're not dealing with her, you're dealing with the spirits dwelling inside of her. This is why you need discernment.
The gift of discernment saves lives, pray for it, and wisdom to keep you wise. So you won't be fooled by a pretty face with beautiful eyes. For the devil knows man's desires and will try to use it against him. For he romes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour. He has his eyes set of Ehyeh's children. He wants to make our very existence sour. But we chose not to give him that power. Because prayer changes things and can reverse any situation. It sets us free and protects us from every temptation. Be careful who you marry, be careful who you lay with, be careful who you procreate with, be careful who you stay with, because bad company does corrupt good morals.
Our decisions matter, they create new chapters. Some good, some bad, some crazy, some sad. But The heavenly Father sees you, he calls you by name. He says, "come back to me and I'll take away the shame." He sees your pain and is ready to intervene, all you need to do is call on his name! Intercede in prayer for that Contentious woman, and let the Lord tell you what to do. Whether you're instructed to stay or go, just know he will see you through. I just had to write to let you know, Man of God, he hasn't forgotten about you!!!
